Eloope automatically blocks IP addresses that exhibit suspicious login behavior. Administrators can also review and manage blocked IPs to control access to the organization.
Access blocked IPs
- Go to Admin Settings > Blocked IPs.
- View the list of currently blocked IP addresses.

How IP blocking works
Eloope monitors login attempts and automatically blocks IP addresses that trigger security thresholds, such as:
- Multiple failed login attempts in a short period
- Brute-force attack patterns
- Logins from flagged geographic regions
When an IP is blocked, all login attempts from that address are rejected until an administrator unblocks it.
Block types
Each blocked IP is categorized as either:
- Auto-blocked: Automatically blocked by the system due to suspicious activity.
- Manual-blocked: Manually blocked by an administrator.
Unblock an IP address
- Go to Admin Settings > Blocked IPs.
- Find the IP address you want to unblock.
- Click the Unblock button next to it.
- Confirm the action.
The IP address is removed from the blocklist and login attempts from that address are allowed again.
Note: Only organization administrators can unblock auto-blocked IP addresses. The system logs a security event each time an IP is unblocked for audit purposes.
Warning: Unblocking an IP address that was auto-blocked due to suspicious activity may expose your organization to security risks. Verify the IP belongs to a legitimate user before unblocking.
