The Finance module gives your finance team a single view of all payment activity across the organization. Track reimbursements, monitor card spend, and manage payment history from one place.
Who can access Finance
The Finance module is available to users with Finance or Administrator roles only. Other users cannot see this section in the sidebar.
If you need access and do not have it, ask your organization's administrator to update your role.
Open the Finance module
- Click Finance in the left sidebar.
- The module opens to the Overview tab by default.

Finance tabs
The Finance module is organized into several tabs. Some tabs are conditionally visible depending on your organization's feature settings.

Overview tab
The Overview tab displays a financial dashboard with charts and metrics. Use the filters at the top to narrow data by Employee, Department, or Category. Adjust the time range using the buttons: This Month, 7D, 30D, Last Month, This Quarter, Last 3 Months, Year-to-Date, or a custom date picker.
Key metrics include:
- Total Pending: The sum of all approved reports that have not yet been reimbursed.
- Total Processed: The total amount reimbursed within the current period.
- Outstanding Advances: The total value of cash advances that have been issued but not yet settled.
These numbers update in real time as reports are processed and payments are recorded. You can also select a specific currency for display when your organization operates with multiple currencies.

Use the Overview tab to get a quick read on your current payment obligations before diving into individual reports or transactions.
Note: The metrics on the Overview tab reflect data across all departments and employees in your organization. Use filters on other tabs to drill into specific teams or time periods.
