Luna is Eloope's AI assistant. She lives on your dashboard and can create expenses, answer questions, check spending, and navigate the app: all from a simple chat interface.
What Luna can do
Luna understands over 25 intents, covering the most common tasks in Eloope:
Create expenses: Describe a purchase in plain language and Luna builds the expense for you. Example: "Add a $45 lunch at Chipotle yesterday."
Create reports and trips: Ask Luna to start a new expense report or trip without leaving the chat.
Check spending: Ask questions like "How much did I spend on travel this month?" and get an instant answer.
Check report status: Ask "What's the status of my March report?" to see where things stand.
Navigate to any page: Say "Go to my approvals" or "Open settings" and Luna takes you there.
Scan receipts: Tell Luna to scan a receipt and she will guide you through the upload process.
Answer questions: Ask about Eloope features, policies, or how to perform a specific action.
How to use Luna
Open the Dashboard.
Switch to Chat Mode using the toggle at the top of the page.
Type your message in the input field at the bottom.
Press Enter or click Send.
Luna responds in seconds. If she creates an expense or report on your behalf, she shows a confirmation with the details so you can review before saving.
Conversation context
Luna remembers your conversation history for 30 minutes. This means you can ask follow-up questions without repeating yourself. For example:
"Create an expense for $120 at Hilton last Friday."
"Actually, change the amount to $135."
Luna understands the second message refers to the expense you just created.
After 30 minutes of inactivity, the conversation resets. You can always start a new conversation at any time.
Rate limits
To ensure reliable performance for all users, Luna has the following usage limits:
20 messages per minute
200 messages per day
If you reach a limit, wait briefly before sending another message. Your limit resets automatically.
Availability
Luna is available on Business and Enterprise plans. If you are on a different plan, the Chat Mode toggle will not appear on your dashboard. Contact your admin or visit the billing page to upgrade.
Note: Luna works alongside the classic dashboard view. Switch between Chat Mode and the standard dashboard at any time without losing your place.
Tips for getting the most from Luna
Be specific: Include amounts, dates, and merchant names for faster expense creation.
Use natural language: Type the way you would talk to a colleague. Luna handles the rest.
Ask for help: If you are unsure how to do something in Eloope, ask Luna. She can explain features and walk you through steps.
